04/24/2010 Andy Dillard Returns To Generals For Fall League Andy Dillard will return as the coach of the Hill Country Generals in the 2010 MSB Fall League after a successful stint as the Tribe coach in the July League. The Saltillo native, who also coached in the inaugural Mississippi Select Fall League in 2009 and the CSBL in 2010, is a former independent league third baseman who won NCAA Division II All-American honors in 2002 for Coach Mike Kinnison's Delta State Statesmen. Dillard prepped at Saltillo High School and continued his baseball career at Itawamba Community College before joining the Statesmen. 08/27/2009 Dexter to Coach Hill Country Generals Long-time youth coach and high school official Robert Dexter of Tupelo will coach the Hill Country Generals team in the inaugural season of the Mississippi Select Baseball High School Fall League. Coach Dexter is a graduate of Southaven High School where he played baseball for the Chargers and also with Southaven American Legion Baseball. |
