Ray to Coach; Lafayette, Olive Branch Additions Complete Dealers Roster

Former professional player Johnny Ray, who played collegiately at Northwest Mississipi Community College and Delta State, has joined the MSB Fall League as coach of the Northwest Mississippi Dealers. 

Coach Ray had a six-year professional career in the Cincinnati Reds organization making it to AA Chattanooga.  Ray has since coached at Southwest Tennessee CC in various capacities and now holds the position of head baseball coach at his alma mater Marshall Academy in Holly Springs. 

Coach Ray will have the pleasure of coaching recent additional registrations this fall from Lafayette and Olive Branch High Schools, rounding out the preliminary roster for the Dealers.  Lafayette power-hitting senior outfielder Denzel Goolsby and juniors Jarrett Patten and John Jeffery Nelson along with Olive Branch juniors Nathan Van Nortwick and Nick Reeves will join players from Bruce, Desoto Central, Marshall Academy, Myrtle and Senatobia with the Dealers.
